EPR PROCESS

Step 1: Request for quotation

All submission services and power systems studies requests for quotation are based upon the electrical plan single line diagrams and service room layout drawings. ME is able to offer any or all of the following services dependent upon your needs.

Step 2: Compilation of data

After an order is received for above, ME issues an EPR data collection worksheet within 1 week that details all information that is required in order to submit a package to the EPR (with responsibilities of each party such as the engineer, contractor, manufacturer, etc. highlighted in a unique color). The following is a list of the typical data required:

Step 3: Submission of EPR package

After all data above is collected, ME creates the drawings within 2-3 weeks (may vary dependent upon complexity of project as defined in the initial quotation). In parallel to creation of the drawings, the payment receipt and owner signed EPR cover sheet are obtained. 

Typical results of the EPR calendar include the following statuses:

APPROVED

The submission is approved and an approval number is provided to include in the permit application.

APPROVED WITH CONDITION

The submission has been reviewed and requires additional information in order to approve. Typically the condition is the submission of a selective coordination report before final inspection.

DISAPPROVED

The submission has been rejected with detail on the information to be resubmitted for further review.
